President Nelson, Elder Cook to Visit Latin America

President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with his wife, Sister Wendy Nelson, and Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, with his wife, Sister Mary Cook, will visit Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, and Guatemala from August 24 to September 2, 2019.

Sites and dates for President Russell M. Nelson's next ministry tour are set: Latin America in late summer.

President Nelson will be joined by his wife, Sister Wendy Nelson, and by Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and his wife, Sister Mary Cook, in visiting five countries in nine days, from August 24 to September 2, Newsroom said.

The tour will include stops in Guatemala, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, and Brazil.

President Nelson and Elder Cook will be visiting with government leaders, religious leaders, and members in the following locations for the Latin America tour:

Saturday, August 24: Guatemala City, Guatemala

Sunday, August 25: Bogotá, Colombia

Monday, August 26: Quito, Ecuador

Wednesday, August 28: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Sunday, September 1: São Paulo, Brazil
