Spanish and Portuguese Audio Version of Liahona Magazine to Go Online

  • 6 April 2011

The Spanish and Portuguese versions of the Liahona, the Church’s international magazine for adults, youth, and children, will be the first to have audio recordings online beginning with the June 2011 issue.

Soon, Spanish and Portuguese speakers will be able to listen to content from the Liahona magazine online in their own language.

Beginning with the June 2011 issue, audio of all of the material printed in the Spanish and Portuguese versions of the Liahona will be recorded and posted online.

The June 2011 audio versions may not be released until after the print date, but they will be released and will continue monthly with each new issue of the magazine. The first four issues of 2011, including January through April, will be recorded retroactively.

The Liahona is the international magazine for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is printed in up to 46 languages. The text of the magazine is available in six languages online in both HTML and PDF formats.

Audio versions of the Liahona in other languages are under consideration.
