General Young Women Meeting Event Description The general Young Women meeting will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. The theme for this year's meeting is "I would that ye should be steadfast and immovable" (Mosiah 5:15). Messages will be given by a member of the First Presidency and by each member of the Young Women general presidency. (Select the poster on the right for a larger view.) The general Young Women meeting will be broadcast around the world via the Church satellite system. The meeting will also be available on the Internet at www.lds.org. Dates and Location Saturday, March 29, 2008, 6:00 p.m. Conference Center Auditorium Tickets Tickets are required for this event. Reserved seat tickets will be distributed to invited stakes in the Utah North, Utah South, and Utah Salt Lake City Areas. For those outside of these areas wishing to attend, please contact the ticket office to obtain tickets. Special Considerations Tickets are required for this event. Those with tickets should be in their seats by 5:30 p.m. Standby seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The standby line is formed at the north gate of Temple Square. Young women ages 12–18, their mothers, and Young Women leaders are invited to attend this meeting. Small children will not be allowed in the Conference Center. No babies, please. Best dress is requested. Overflow seating will be available. Those attending this event are advised that cameras, recording devices, backpacks, food, and beverages are not allowed in the Conference Center. Those who attend are encouraged to park in designated parking areas only. The Conference Center doors will open at 4:30 p.m. The length of this meeting is approximately 90 minutes.
