| I have finished Seminary, but I am not 18 years old yet, can I attend Institute? |
| Yes, Institute is the next step for you after Seminary. You are welcome.
(PS. this doesn't mean you can also automatically start in YSA; YSA and Institute are two different programmes). |

| I work at night, are there any daytime classes? |
| There are classes held on University Campuses during the day that you are welcome to attend. Check for one close to you (see "Register for Classes') and try to arrange your schedule to attend. |

| Do I have to attend Institute in my own stake? |
| You are encouraged to attend in your own stake, but you can attend wherever is most convenient. You may want to attend another Institute to study a course not available in your own stake. |

| How many credits do I need to graduate |
| 2 credits - Course Completion Certificate
8 credits- Certificate of Aachievement
14 credits- Graduation Diploma (must have 4 compulsory credits of Book of Mormon)
22 credits- Advanced Certificate of Achievement |

| Why go to campus classes if I'm attending evening classes? |
| We offer a different course than in the evening and we try to cater the classes to suit the University students.
Spencer W. Kimball has stated that..."One need not choose between secular and spiritual knowledge but only as to the sequence, for there is opportunity for one to get both simultaneously; but can you see that the...institute courses should be given even preferential attention over the college course; the study of the scriptures ahead of the study of man-written texts; the association with the Church more improtant that clubs...; the payment of tithing more important than paying tuition and fees?
Can you see that the ordinances of the temple are more important than PhD or any and all other academic degrees?"

| In most cases there are social activities of games, puzzles, talking, eating and having fun with friends and making new ones. |
