	YOUNG MEN GENERAL PRESIDENCY MESSAGE As we travel throughout the Church, we are gratified with the efforts of many to implement the Duty to God program to better prepare their young men of the Aaronic Priesthood to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood, to receive the ordinances of the temple, and to serve a full-time mission. FEATURES April 2008 Stake Auxiliary Leadership Training In connection with the April 2008 general conference, the general auxiliary organizations of the Church will hold training workshops for stake auxiliary leaders. This training replaces the "open houses" of previous years. Please visit the training schedule for additional details. Aaronic Priesthood and Scouting Satellite Broadcast for Adult Leaders An Aaronic Priesthood and Scouting training meeting was broadcast over the Church satellite system on May 12, 2007. The proceedings of that meeting are available in multiple formats for the benefit of bishops, Young Men presidencies, Scouting leaders, and others with responsibility for the young men of the Church. 2008 Mutual Theme The First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve have approved the following as the Mutual theme for 2008: "Be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works" (Mosiah 5:15). Who's on the Lord's Side? In his April 2007 general conference address, Charles W. Dahlquist, II, Young Men general president, said: "A question . . . should be in the mind of each young man and each young woman the world over: 'Who's on the Lord's side?' And our resounding answer should be, 'I am!' " This conference address is available online in audio, video, and text format. Conference proceedings are also translated into many languages. Safety Guidelines for Activities The First Presidency has counseled parents, teachers, and leaders of youth to care for and protect the youth of the Church. Guidelines are available to help you wisely plan and safely carry out Aaronic Priesthood, Mutual, Scouting, and other activities.
