New Sunday School General Presidency On April 4, 2009, the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the reorganization of the Sunday School general presidency. Brother A. Roger Merrill was released as president, Daniel K Judd as first counselor, and William D. Oswald as second counselor. Brother Russell T. Osguthorpe was sustained as the Sunday School general president, with David M. McConkie as first counselor and Matthew O. Richardson as second counselor.
Sunday School Curriculum, 2009 The course of study for Gospel Doctrine in 2009 is the Doctrine and Covenants and Church history. Gospel Doctrine teachers and class members can find everything they need to prepare for class on this site, including the scriptures, the teacher's manual, and the class member study guide.
