Every young woman, even if she is the only young woman in her ward or branch, should have the opportunity to participate in the Young Women program.
Leadership
- Leadership for the Young Women organization could consist of only a Young Women president.
- She could combine the age-groups and plan all lessons and activities.
- Lessons could be planned from the Young Women manuals or from Gospel Principles.
- Counselors, a secretary, advisers, and other leaders may be added when the need arises and qualified sisters become available.
- As the number of young women increases, additional leaders may be called.
Programs
Activities
- Young Women activities might be coordinated with ward or branch activities, family activities, and, where applicable, Church Educational System activities.
- When possible, participation in stake or district activities could give young women in small units an opportunity to interact with a greater number of young women and young men.
