The First Presidency asks that the age-appropriate Church magazines be in every home to bless the lives of the members.

You are on the Lord’s errand when acting in your calling as ward magazine representative. He will bless you as you:

• Plan and direct Church magazine subscription campaigns for the ward. (Just follow the simple campaign instructions that are provided.)
• Help members begin or renew subscriptions to the Church magazines and the Church News.
• Instruct ward magazine assistants in their assignments to contact ward members.
• Follow up with members not contacted by a ward magazine assistant.
• Keep track of new move-ins, children who change age-groups, and newly called teachers throughout the year, and encourage subscriptions to the appropriate magazine(s).
• Invite members to give gift subscriptions and help them to do so.
• Submit subscriptions promptly according to campaign instructions.

• The Instructions for Ward Magazine Representatives and the Tips for Success provide a solid foundation for success. These instructions are included in the annual subscription campaign packet sent to each ward and branch.
• The brochure The No. 1 Reason Is . . . provides discussion points for approaching non-subscribers and tells how the magazines help families and individuals. Copies of the brochure are sent with the campaign packets. Additional copies (item no. 24441) may be ordered from your nearest Church Distribution Center.
