Transitioning into Womanhood: Questions to Ponder

1. 1. What can Relief Society leaders do to better “listen with charity and concern” as they seek the Lord’s direction to help younger sisters feel they belong and are wanted in Relief Society. Who could leaders listen to?

2. 2. How can Relief Society leaders engage all sisters in helping young adult sisters recognize they too have a place in Relief Society?

3. 3. What can Relief Society leaders do to help Relief Society sisters learn of the talents, gifts, hopes and dreams of the young women? What can you do as a leader to allow these younger sisters the opportunity to contribute to an older sister’s life?

4. 4.How can you as a Relief Society presidency support and help mothers with daughters in Young Women?

5. 5. What is your priesthood leader’s vision for helping your transitioning sisters? How can you discover his vision?

6. 6. Do you as a Relief Society Presidency personally know every young single adult in your ward or branch?

7. 7.What can Relief Society leaders do to help create an atmosphere in Relief Society where sisters’ from all backgrounds, and interests have their “hearts knit together in unity and love”?

8. 8.What covenants have Relief Society Sisters made that promote sisterhood? How can we help sisters remember these covenants? What place do covenants have in our desire for sisterhood?
