Gospel Doctrine teachers: The lessons in the manual contain more information than you will probably be able to teach in one class period. Seek the Spirit of the Lord in selecting the scripture accounts, questions, and other lesson materials that best meet the needs of class members.

The Second Coming

The lesson manual suggests a picture from the Gospel Art Picture Kit that you can use during your lesson (see lesson manual, page 86). This picture is available online or in your meetinghouse library. To see the picture online, click on the picture title in the list below.

For suggestions on using pictures in your class, read "Pictures" and "Visuals" in Teaching, No Greater Call, pages 176, 182–83.

Suggestion for Teaching

Teaching, No Greater Call The lesson for this week provides this suggestion for teaching: "A call to teach does not require that you know everything about the gospel, so you should not feel embarrassed if a class member asks a question that you cannot answer. Instead of making up an answer, admit that you do not know and offer to try to find an answer" (lesson manual, page 86).
