CAROL F. MCCONKIE

Carol McConkie was born in Spokane, Washington, and raised in Delaware, New York, and Arizona. She received a bachelor's degree in English education from Arizona State University, where she met and married Oscar W. McConkie in the Mesa Arizona Temple. They are the parents of seven children and have seventeen grandchildren.

Sister McConkie has served in the women's auxiliaries of the Church. In 2005 she served as a mission president's wife with her husband in the California San Jose Mission. She loves the gospel and believes “the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever” (Isaiah 32:17).
