Step into the 1800s, and discover the panoramic majesty of northern Utah through the historic musical production Martin Harris: The Man Who Knew, a free drama presented by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The pageant showcases the life of Martin Harris. This remarkable man risked his reputation and fortune to finance the first printing of the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ and to help the fledgling Church. He was also one of three men who were privileged to see the angel Moroni display the gold plates from which Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. After the witnesses were allowed to see and handle the gold plates, a voice from heaven declared that the record was true and had been translated correctly. This experience changed Harris's life forever. Not only had he heard the voice of the Lord, but he was given the charge to declare the divine origin of the Book of Mormon to all. This he did faithfully for the rest of his life. Experience Martin Harris's journey of trial and testimony as he bears witness of the Book of Mormon.
