This 90-minute concert will feature original award-winning works from the 2019 Church Music Submission, including hymns, children’s songs, youth music, and hymn arrangements for choir, instrumentalists, and vocal soloists. This concert will be live-streamed.
Conference Center Theater

Experience the energy and artistry of the internationally acclaimed Brigham Young University performing groups as they take their amazing talents to Salt Lake City. Over the course of several weekends, the Conference Center Theater will be full of cultural dances, a cappella music, stunning costumes, and master instrumentalists and singers. Ballroom Dance Company, International Folk Dance Ensemble, Living Legends, Noteworthy, Vocal Point, and Young Ambassadors will dazzle audiences with performances showcasing a variety of artistic tastes.
Sunday, March 17
Music, song, and dance will be in abundance at the 2019 Sacred Music Evening hosted by the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable. The concert is open to patrons of all ages and religious backgrounds. This night of unity and celebration will include musical performances, scriptural readings and prayers from various Utah faith communities.
Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30
The Orchestra at Temple Square and Temple Square Chorale will combine their musical talents for this year’s spring concert in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30, 2019. Entitled “An Evening of Britten and Bernstein,” the concert will feature The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and Te Deum in C, both by Benjamin Britten, followed by the Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein.
Conference Center Auditorium
Saturday - Sunday, April 6 – April 7
The 189th Annual General Conference of the Church will convene in the Conference Center Auditorium in Salt Lake City on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and April 7, 2019, and will be broadcast to many areas of the world. Saturday general sessions will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (MDT); Sunday general sessions will be held at 9:30 a.m. (MDT), which includes Music and the Spoken Word, and 2:00 p.m. (MDT). The general priesthood session will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. (MDT).
The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and the Utah Symphony will present the 2019 O. C. Tanner Gift of Music concert on Friday, May 10, in the Salt Lake Conference Center as part of Golden Spike 150th anniversary celebration events and activities. The Choir and Symphony will be joined on stage by two talented Broadway stars, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Megan Hilty.
Joseph Smith Memorial Building—Legacy Theater
Meet the Mormons, Days of Harmony, and A Day for the Eternities will be showing in the Legacy Theater. Meet the Mormons examines the very diverse lives of devout members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Days of Harmony and A Day for the Eternities are two films that depict the translation of the Book of Mormon, the restoration of the priesthood, and the organization of the Church.
