First Presidency Announces 2018 Temple President for Taiwan

The following new temple president and his wife have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.
Taipei Taiwan Temple
Chen, Hsien Chin, 73, Hsinying Ward, Chiayi Taiwan Stake, called as president of the Taipei Taiwan Temple, succeeding President Lu, Shin (Hsun). President Chen’s wife, Chen, Pao Kuei, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Lu, Yan Peng Ying. He is a patriarch and Sunday School teacher and a former Taipei Taiwan Temple presidency counselor, stake president, branch president, and mission presidency counselor. Retired president of Ritad Industries Company, Ltd., he was born in Tainan, Taiwan, to Chen, Shih and Lin, Wen.
Sister Chen is a Relief Society ministering supervisor and a former assistant to the matron of the Taipai Taiwan Temple, ward Relief Society president, Sunday School teacher, and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Tainan, Taiwan, to Chen, Ming Huei and Guo, Ah Er.
