The First Presidency recently announced the publication of the full Book of Mormon in Lao. The book of scripture will be a valuable resource for over 4,500 Church members who speak the language in Laos, Thailand, and in smaller groups in the United States and Canada.

The new language translation is available in softcover through local Church distribution centers and online at store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org (item 35607331) and ChurchofJesusChrist.org. The book will soon be available on the Gospel Library and Book of Mormon mobile apps.

Prior to the full version of the Book of Mormon being made available, Lao-speaking members used the Selections of the Book of Mormon in Lao, which were first published in September 1982.
