Temple and Family History Consultants Invited to Watch 2018 Rootstech Leadership Session

Elder Quentin L. Cook and Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will speak during the family history leadership session at Rootstech, a broadcast for all temple and family history consultants, as well as high priests group leaders, high councilors with temple and family history responsibilities, and others who are interested.

Elder Quentin L. Cook and Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be the featured speakers of during the family history leadership session at Rootstech.

All LDS temple and family history consultants are invited to participate in the live stream broadcast of the session on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. High priests group leaders, high councilors with temple and family history responsibilities, and any other interested leaders are also welcome to participate.

Other speakers include Sister Joy D. Jones, Primary General President; and from the Seventy, Elder Donald L. Hallstrom, Executive Director of the Priesthood and Family Department; Elder Bradley D. Foster, Executive Director of the Family History Department; Elder Brent H. Nielson, Executive Director of the Missionary Department; and Elder Patrick Kearon, of the Presidency of the Seventy.

Leadership session participants are also encouraged to watch the opening session of Family Discovery Day on Saturday, March 3, at 1:00 p.m. with President Dallin H. Oaksof the First Presidency, and his wife, Sister Kristen M. Oaks, streamed on the home page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org. (Seerelated story.)
