Organizations and people around the world are participating in Global Youth Service Day this weekend.
And we’re not talking about only members of the Church—this includes nonprofit foundations, thousands of youth organizations, and countless others.
Let’s join this remarkable event! What could you do over the next few days to make your community a better place?
Here are two awesome service stories. We’ll share two more tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Our town in Hawaii had a big flood. As we helped clean up and check on people, I saw a mother on her porch with her kids. She cried tears of joy, grateful for our help. I felt warm and good inside. Helping was definitely worth it.

My mom and I made 1,121 blankets that we’ve sent to 29 countries! Most go to kids who are sick. One young woman had just had brain surgery but still had such a happy spirit. This inspires me to be grateful for everything I have. I think if Christ were here, He’d make sure everyone felt loved. So I can be His hands. I can help do His work.
