The Young Women General Presidency has been looking forward to this day for a long time. Global Youth Service Day, April 26–28, is the LARGEST annual celebration of young volunteers in the world. Isn’t that cool?
And we want you to join us!
There are lots of ways you can participate. You could serve by watching a neighbor’s kids for a night or helping cheer up a friend who’s been sad.
Or, if you’re looking for more specific ideas, check out the JustServe app, which has lots of suggestions of how to serve in your local community.
One of my favorite scriptures is Mosiah 2:17. It reminds us that “when [we] are in the service of [our] fellow beings, [we] are … in the service of … God.”
I truly believe that when we serve others, we are serving God.
