We prepare for conference by going shopping for treats and resting so we don’t fall asleep in the middle of conference. We pray as a family for understanding and read the scriptures. I am always excited to listen to a living prophet and hear the word of God.

Watching conference made me want to be close to Jesus Christ. He is the Good Shepherd, and He cares about us, His sheep. Sometimes we wander a little far, but He always comes to look for us.

Tithing and Offerings
In conference, we learned some of the ways the Church uses our tithing money and donations to bless people all around the world!
Last year, more than 1 billion US dollars were used to bless those in need.
Another 54 million US dollars helped mothers and children in need.
Tithing helps support more than 71,000 missionaries serving in 414 missions.
Tithing also helps take care of 30,000 congregations in 195 countries and territories.
