A. Multi-Coordinating Council Model

Area JustServe Council

Use this approach when there is a high concentration of stakes and multiple coordinating councils within a mission. Call a JustServe specialist or couple for each coordinating council and designate one specialist as the lead to facilitate coordination between the specialists of each council in each mission. For the best results, follow the JustServe Community Service Guidebook and Addendum as closely as possible.

B. Single Coordinating Council Model

Use this approach when stakes do not have stake directors of Church Communication and there is only one coordinating council within mission boundaries. Call a JustServe specialist or couple for each coordinating council. For the best results, follow the JustServe Community Service Guidebook and Addendum as closely as possible.

C. Pre-Launch Model

For Area Presidencies anxious to begin JustServe in areas where the full JustServe organization or JustServe website and app may not yet be feasible, the Area Presidency may begin implementing JustServe by calling a few coordinating council JustServe specialists within the area or mission boundaries to build relationships with faith-based, nonprofit, community, and government organizations. JustServe specialists coordinate closely with the area directors of Church Communication and with area and local Welfare and Self-Reliance managers.

Volunteer needs may be recorded on a spreadsheet (or other means) that can be shared with mission JustServe specialists and stake, ward, district, and branch leaders.
