My Calling as a Priests Quorum Secretary

Who Do I Work With?

Quorum Members

Build sincere relationships with the young men in your quorum to help them feel loved and help them come unto Christ. Encourage them to seek the guidance of the Spirit in fulfilling their sacred roles as Aaronic Priesthood holders. Keep track of quorum members who might not attend regularly, and suggest the quorum presidency take time during presidency meetings to discuss how they can reach out to these individuals.

Quorum Presidency

As a priests quorum secretary, you work under the direction of the bishop, who is the quorum president. You support and sustain him as you accept and prayerfully fulfill the responsibilities he may delegate to you. You also seek inspiration so that you can use your unique gifts to bless the young men in your quorum. (See General Handbook: Serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 10.4.)

Bishop

The bishop is the president of the priests quorum. He provides leadership training and support to help in your service.

Aaronic Priesthood Quorum Adviser and Specialist

The Aaronic Priesthood quorum adviser and a specialist serve as resources to you. They will help you fulfill your responsibilities and priesthood duties. These men will provide ongoing support and encouragement. When you are unsure what to do, counsel with them.
