Bogotá is one of the highest-elevation capitals in the world. The first congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Colombia was organized in 1966. Today, the Church in Colombia has:

  • 214,400 members (approximately)

  • 30 stakes, 257 wards and branches, 5 missions

  • 2 temples (Bogotá and Barranquilla) and 1 announced (Cali)

Hymns Invite the Spirit

Dario and Esneda Cruz, from Bogotá, feel closer to God when they sing hymns. “Through them we strengthen our testimonies,” they explain. “The feeling they bring to our hearts is something very special.”
