Naʻe tupu ʻa e ʻofa ʻa Palesiteni Sāmita ki he niʻihi kehé mei heʻene ʻiloʻi moʻoni ko e ngaahi tokoua mo e tuofāfine kotoa ʻa kitautolu, ko e fānau ʻa e Tamai Hēvani tatau pē. ʻI he fakaikuiku ʻene moʻuí, naʻá ne pehē ki he Kāingalotú:

Naʻe fakahaaʻi ʻe Palesiteni Sāmita ʻene ʻofa ki he niʻihi kehé ʻi ha ngaahi ngāue ʻofa taʻefaʻalaua. Naʻe pehē ʻe ha taha naʻá ne fakatokangaʻi ʻeni: “ ʻOku ʻulungāanga ʻaki ʻe Palesiteni Sāmita ke ʻalu ʻo tokoni ʻi hono fakafiemālieʻi mo faitāpuekina fakatāutaha ha tokolahi ʻoku puke, loto-mamahi, pea houngaʻia ʻi heʻene fiefia ke fakalotolahi kiate kinautolú. Ko hotau ngaahi tokoua mo e tuofāfine ʻa e kakai kotoa pē, ko e fānau ʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní.

ʻOku tau lau ʻa e houʻeiki tangata kotoa pē ko hotau tuongaʻane, mo e houʻeiki fafine kotoa pē ko e tuofāfine; ʻoku tau lau ʻa e tokotaha kotoa pē ʻo e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá ʻi māmani ko e fānau ʻa ʻetau Tamaí, pea ʻi heʻetau tui ko e tokotaha takitaha ʻoku ʻi he tatau ʻo e Tamaí, ʻoku tau takitaha maʻu ai ha kiʻi konga faka-ʻOtua ʻa ia kapau te tau fakatupulaki, te ne teuteuʻi kitautolu ke tau toe foki atu ki Hono ʻafioʻangá. …

ʻOku akoʻi kitautolu ʻe he ongoongoleleí ke tau maʻu ʻa e ʻofa faka-Kalaisí ki he kakai kotoa pē pea ke tau ʻofa ki hotau kāingá. Naʻe folofola ʻa e Fakamoʻuí:

“Ke ke ʻofa ki [he ʻEiki] ko ho ʻOtuá ʻaki ho laumālié kotoa, mo hoʻo moʻuí kotoa, mo ho lotó kotoa, ko e ʻuluaki pea ko e lahi ia ʻo e fekaú.

“Pea ko hono ua ʻoku tatau mo iá, Ke ke ʻofa ki ho kaungāʻapí ʻo hangē pē ko koé. Ko e fekaú ni ʻe ua ʻoku tautau ai ʻa e fono kotoa mo e kau palōfitá.” [Mātiu 22:37–40.]

Ko hotau fatongia tauhí ko e ʻofa. ʻOku hanga ʻe heʻetau ngāue tokoní ʻo fakakoloaʻi ʻetau moʻuí. … Kapau ʻoku tau moʻui ʻo fakatatau mo e taumuʻa ʻa e ʻOtuá, kapau ʻoku tau tauhi ki he niʻihi kehé ʻo hangē ko hono lotó, ʻe fakakoloaʻi ʻa e ʻaho kotoa pē ʻo ʻetau moʻuí ʻe he ivi ʻo hono Laumālié, ʻe fakautuutu ʻetau ʻofa ki hotau kāingá pea tupulaki hotau laumālié kae ʻoua kuo tau ongoʻi te tau ʻomi kotoa e fānau ʻa e ʻOtuá ʻi hotau umá, mo ha holi ke faitāpuekina mo mahino ʻa e moʻoní kiate kinautolu.9

ʻOku totonu ke tau tauhi ʻEne ngaahi fekaú mo feʻofaʻaki ʻi heʻetau hoko ko e kāingalotu ʻo e Siasi ʻo Kalaisí. Pea ʻoku totonu leva ke fakalaka atu ʻetau ʻofá ʻi he ngaahi ngataʻanga ʻo hotau Siasí, pea tau ala atu ʻo tokoni ki he fānau ʻa e tangatá.10

Tau fakamoʻoniʻi ʻaki ʻa hotau ʻulungāangá, ʻa ʻetau angavaivaí, pea ʻaki ʻa ʻetau ʻofá, ʻaki ʻa ʻetau tuí, ʻoku tau tauhi ʻa e fekau lahi ko ia naʻe folofola ʻaki ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ʻoku tatau mo e ʻuluakí pea ko e lahi ʻo e fekaú, “Ke ke ʻofa ki ho kaungāʻapí ʻo hangē pē ko koé.”11

ʻOku tau moʻui ʻaki ʻa e ʻofa faka-Kalaisí ʻi heʻetau ala atu ʻo tokoniʻi ʻa kinautolu ʻoku fie maʻu tokoní mo e fakalotolahí.

ʻOku maʻu ʻa e fiefia moʻoní mei he ʻofa mo tokoni ki he niʻihi kehe.
